Advocacy
& Support

If something goes wrong Your Student Union is in your corner. Our advocacy services are confidential and independent of the university.
Support is here if you need to make a complaint, report discrimination or violence, or need help and don’t know where to start.

WesternLife
Your Virtual Community

From orientation through to graduation, Your Student Union is running events and experiences that bring students together. WesternLife is your virtual community for everything happening across campus.

Where we get our funding

The Western Sydney University Student Union is funded through the Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF), receiving 40% of the total fee collected from the university. This 40% of funding is guaranteed by the Universities Accord (2024).

The Student Union is a charitable organisation can receive both financial donations and donations of goods for services and programs.
